Math Speed Test

Mental arithmetic is a skill, and like any skill it gets faster with focused reps under a little time pressure. This speed test feeds you one problem at a time across the operation and level you choose, then shows your accuracy and pace so you can watch yourself get quicker.

How to Play

1. Choose Number of questions (a fixed set, raced against your own best time) or Timed (as many as you can before the clock runs out).
2. Pick an operation - addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or a mixed set - and a level that sets how big the numbers get.
3. Press Start, type each answer, and press Enter. Subtraction never goes below zero and every division comes out to a whole number, so answers stay clean.

Your best score is kept on your own device. There is no sign-in and nothing is uploaded.

Levels

• Easy - small numbers (up to about 10) and the times tables to 10.
• Medium - numbers up to about 20 and tables to 12.
• Hard - numbers up to about 50 and tables to 12.
