Recognising primes, even numbers, and multiples at a glance is a real number-sense skill. This quick-fire game shows a number and asks one yes/no question - is it prime? even? a multiple of 3? - and you answer as fast as you can before the clock runs out.

How to Play

  1. Choose the rule: Prime?, Even?, or Multiple of 3?
  2. Press Start. A number appears; tap Yes or No.
  3. Score as many correct as you can in 60 seconds. Your best for each rule is saved on your device.

A Quick Reminder

  • A prime has exactly two factors: 1 and itself (2, 3, 5, 7, 11, …). 1 is not prime.
  • A number is even if it ends in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.
  • A number is a multiple of 3 if its digits add up to a multiple of 3.
